  1. I would like to read "My Baby Rides the Short Bus" because more than likely my baby will! My daughter is 17 months old with microcephaly and suspected CP (MRI on Friday yay). She does not talk right now as such, and is just learning how to use her walker. She is beautiful and perfect, though! I don't have a lot of supporters around me, and the local moms groups are all "typical" kids. I also don't feel like I can relate to a lot of the other books or parent articles on special needs kids because they are often schmaltzy and touchy-feely-- so not me! I came over from aspecialparent on LJ and have heard fantastic things about the book on there, but right now I'm too broke to buy it.

  2. I should get a copy so I can read the whole thing, and share it with everyone that my SISTER has a wonderful piece in the book.

I follow you on facebook, and on here, so there's my other two, dangit!

  3. I read part of the book on google. The part that u wrote about kids with adhd really hit home. I may not deal with as severe a disbility as some but i still struggle. I would like to read it to understand others struggles.

  6. I'd like to read this book because I want to hear real life stories of people that have been where I am. I read parts of the book through google and was very impressed.

  10. I would like to read it because developmental delays have an effect on all of us, in one way or another. It would offer a perspective I don't have: kids.
